These pet shelter adoption printables are perfect for your little ones to use for pretend play.

Your preschoolers, kindergartners, & 1st graders will work on their pre-literacy and pre-writing skills while setting up a pretend pet rescue and adoption shelter with their stuffed animals & these pet shelter adoption printables.

Includes two different shelter adoption application forms for pretend play of adopting a pet snake, hamster, turtle, bunny, cockatoo, cat, dog, guinea pig, mouse, or fish. Your kids can practice copying their names, addresses, and phone numbers on these pages.

There’s also a shelter animal information form to fill out for each “pet” in their pretend animal shelter. Little ones can have fun naming each of the stuffed animals in their shelter.

A pet shelter adoption certificate is also included to send home with each adopted animal. Your kids will practice their pre-writing and copying skills to record the companion animal’s new name, breed, and owner’s name along with a photo of the new pet and its family.  There are five “pictures” of kids with different animals to print and cut out for the photo, or your child can draw their own picture.

To save on paper and printing costs, laminate the forms and let your kids use washable fine point dry erase markers.
