Preschool to Early Elementary History & Civics
Here are all of our history and civics homeschooling resources for your students working at a preschool to 2nd-grade level.
And as always, feel free to mix and match activities from the Upper Elementary (3rd to 5th grade) and Middle/High School (6th grade and up) levels to best suit the needs of your children.
History class sometimes gets a bad rap as being boring. My family discovered that it’s our favorite subject when we stepped away from textbook-style learning. We love combining our literature & history and then adding in other hands-on projects and media to create an immersive family-style learning environment.

Hi there, Homeschool Mom
I’m Jenn Carson, Licensed Speech-language pathologist, M.A. CCC-SLP, and homeschool mom of 6
I believe that you too can have a low-stress homeschool without chaos and feeling like everything is messy–your curriculum…the house… the kids…your hair. Okay, forget the part about the house not being messy; let’s face it, as long as the kids are living at home, it’s going to be messy 😀
Join me and thousands of other homeschool moms as we go along this homeschooling journey together!
