Arctic Unit Study for Homeschooling Families
Your kids of all ages will learn about the arctic animals, arctic exploration history, geography and native peoples and their stories in this Arctic Region Unit Study for homeschooling families.
Discover the rich history of Arctic explorers and daring Arctic rescues, as well as Native American throat-singing and the geography of the Arctic Circle, how igloos are made and how they keep people warm, and much more with fun, hands-on lessons that cover all subjects.

This Arctic Unit Study is designed for family-style learning and works for learners of all ages and abilities.
This Arctic Unit Study was created by combining Charlotte Mason style language arts with full STEAM sciences and arts along with history, sensory activities, and family fun extras, you get a well-rounded and hands-on education. My family loves to school with meaningful, real-life learning lessons and activities and your family will too!
Whether you have one child or eight, you’ll love these adaptable lessons for all ages and abilities.
This family-style Unit Study has 3 main levels of difficulty to help you meet your child at the level they are currently working, instead of some arbitrary grade level.
In general, the 3 levels are split into these corresponding categories:
- Early Learners: Preschool up to 2nd grade
- Upper Elementary: 3rd to 5th grades
- Middle & High School: 6th to 12 grades
Feel free to mix and match with the lessons and activities for the three different levels to find activities that best suit your children and their individual learning styles.
I recommend selecting the individual activities that will slightly challenge your child so that they can grow in their abilities and education.
Click on one of the subject categories below to find all 3 levels of lessons for that subject.
